– who, where and what
Today, Life-Manager is being used by the elderly as younger, by people with physical disabilities and people with no, or very limited language to cognitive strong residents. Also, in relation to relatives and volunteers, e.g., digital visitors can imagine video communication.
There are also many different professions using Life-Manager. It is also for helpers, nurses, educators, physiotherapists, social workers, consultants and others.
One of the benefits of Life-Manager is that the hardware is independent, ie. that it can be used on smartphone, tablet and PC. It simply means that video communication can take place wherever there is a network connection.
Experience, it is advantageous that the video call is conducted in a quiet environment where you have been informed about who is sitting next to / in a local area before calling a resident.
This is important for both residents and staff to experience each other during the call, as well as respect for the confidential information that may arise in the conversation.
Here are some examples of how video communication can be used, but the list is far from exhaustive.
Reminders about consumption of fluid, food and medicine, procurement, instructions, wound care, safety shortages, task assignment, measurements / monitoring, advisory, motivational and supportive conversations, consultancy function staff, training / rehabilitation, interpreter use, contact with authorities with more.
The advantage of using Life-Manager is excellent.
Video communication can be used for all visits where physical help is not required
Life-Manager is a tool that supports the continuous need to deliver the greatest possible quality of care service, partly by streamlining the use of human resources and by helping the residents become more self-employed.
